In close consultation with clients, I design and make headstones, lawn-memorials, and commemorative bird-baths to honour your loved one appropriately. 

My memorials reflect the life and character of the deceased, so are more meaningful than those cut by machine to a standard design. ​

My work is entirely hand-crafted and is priced according to size and complexity. As a rough guide, upright headstones cost from £2,500 and lawn memorials cost from £500. I help complete the Diocesan paperwork, which can be daunting for the bereaved. When a commission is underway, I ask for a down-payment of half the estimated costs, and the balance once the memorial is complete.

 Stone cleaning and renovation: I clean, recut and repaint headstones to make them legible again. My work is sensitive and sympathetic to the natural ageing process of the stone. I have renovated War Memorials in Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Norfolk. 

I was the proud recipient of a Natural Stone Federation Award for my contribution to the renovation of Cromer War Memorial.

I have been a member of the National Association of Master Letter-Carvers (affiliated to N.A.M.M.) since 2003.
